Ordering
When do I need to have my order in by?
The weekly order deadline is 12 noon on Tuesday’s. We require orders in before this time to ensure that we can prep and include it in our production roast for that week. We prefer to receive orders on Monday’s so that we can plan our roast schedule. For Norwegian customers outside of Oslo, it is important that you place your order on Monday so that we can roast and send it on Wednesday, allowing more time before the weekend for Bring to deliver.
How do I place orders?
By logging into your business/wholesale account and placing it directly online in our business portal. If you’re having issues placing your order then contact us on hello@timwendelboe.no or +47 4000 4062.
Why can’t I access my wholesale prices?
Check that you are logged into your business/wholesale account on our business portal. If you’re having trouble accessing your account, then contact us on hello@timwendelboe.no or +47 4000 4062.
Why can’t I see the coffee that I usually order?
It may be that we have sold out of that lot. Our selection is constantly rotating, reflecting the harvest seasons at origin. Get in touch with us if you would like more information on coffees and profiles.
Can my order be invoiced?
Norwegian customers can choose to receive invoices or pre-pay their orders. Note: Please contact us before changing your payment method. All International orders need to be pre-paid via the website before they are processed & shipped.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The MOQ for wholesale orders is 5kg.
Shipping
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We are pleased to offer international shipping with DHL. Unfortunately, due to customs challenges we are not currently able to ship to Israel, Thailand, Brazil, Greece, Guatemala, Russia or Vietnam.
How much does shipping cost?
The cost of shipping depends on weight, volume and destination. The price for your shipment is calculated and added to your total during checkout.
We currently use Bring for packages delivered within Norway where you can choose between «Pakke til bedrift” or “Pakke til hentested”, both with tracking. International orders (sales outside of Norway) can only be shipped with DHL with tracking (also called EXPRESS WORLDWIDE).
Are there any issues with customs or duties on shipments?
As a wholesale customer, you are responsible for the payment of duties & taxes and this is not included in the shipping cost due in our webshop checkout. These will vary based on the customs rules of the country being shipped to. We advise you to research your local import and tax regulations to be sure you can receive the coffee smoothly.
Does your price include shipping?
No. Because shipping rates vary according to destination, shipping costs are calculated and added to your total during checkout. We will never integrate them in to the coffee price.
When will my coffee arrive? Will it still be fresh when it gets here?
We want you to enjoy the freshest coffee possible, so we always send coffee the same day as it was roasted. All our coffees are packed in nitrogen flushed and vacuum-sealed bags. This increases the shelf life of the coffee and our coffees should taste sweet and fresh for at least a month after roast date.
Pakke til bedrift & Pakke til Hentested (only available in Norway):
Shipping is usually 1-3 business days
DHL (only available outside of Norway):
Europe: 2-3 business days
Rest of the world: 3-4 business days
Our Roasting Style
What is a light roast coffee?
A light roast coffee is one where the coffee is not roasted as long or as dark as traditional dark roast coffee.
We wish to preserve and enhance as much of the natural coffee flavours as possible so that you will be able to taste the distinct flavours that are unique to each coffee we import. Therefore we roast our coffees very carefully in order not to cover our coffees with roasty aromas from darker roasts and at the same time stay away from the grassy flavours and sour acidity from an underdeveloped roast.
Our light roasted coffees are suited for all brew methods, except espresso. The roast level gives a cup with clarity, brightness and sweetness with little bitterness and ashy flavours from the roast process.
If you wish to brew espresso on an espresso machine, we recommend using our espresso roasted coffees.
Training
Do you offer training?
