Le Génie Bakery & Espresso is a Parisian-inspired café in downtown Toronto. Since 2020, they have focused on serving high-quality pastries and specialty coffee.
How long have you been using our coffee, and what do you enjoy most about working with us?
We have been using Tim Wendelboe’s coffee for nearly a year, and it has become central to our focus on quality at Le Génie. We chose your coffee because we share a dedication to consistency, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
Your close work with farmers to source the finest beans reflects the way our team handcrafts every pastry on-site using the best ingredients. Do you have a favourite coffee from us?
Our favourite coffee is your Echemo from Ethiopia – a truly versatile offering that shines as espresso, pour-over, and cold brew. Its vibrant flavour profile combines bright fruit, gentle florals, and a touch of spice, with a smooth, refined finish.
Echemo pairs beautifully with our pastries, from buttery croissants to delicate pistachio Paris Brest, creating a balanced and memorable experience for our guests. It captures the same focus on quality and detail that defines both our brands.
