Can you introduce yourself, your company, and how you first heard about us?

We are Camillo Bastrup, a small and personal coffee bar in the heart of Kristiansand. Our focus is simple: great coffee and great meeting places. The atmosphere here is warm, and we are proud to be a familiar and loved meeting spot for many of our guests. Quite a few drop by every single day for their regular coffee – often before they even have time to order, our barista is already preparing “the usual.”

That closeness, the joy, and those small everyday coffee moments are what we live for.

From the very beginning, Tim stood out to us for his genuine passion and dedication to quality. When he started roasting, it didn’t take long before we had the pleasure of serving his coffee.

How long have you been using our coffee, and what do you enjoy most about working with us?

We started serving Tim’s coffee in 2008 and have been fortunate to follow the journey ever since – exploring the many unique coffees that have come through the years.

What we value most is how approachable and generous the team has always been. You are never far away. Whether it is a quick phone call or an email, we always feel welcome and supported. We don’t just get the help we need; we always receive a little extra care and insight on top. That generosity of spirit means a lot to us.

Do you have a favourite coffee from us?

The quality is always exceptional, and our favourites tend to shift with the seasons – as great coffee should. Personally, I have to say that Karogoto from Kenya is one of my all-time favourites.

Several of our team members would say that Variedad Colombia from Finca Tamana is among the best coffees they have ever tasted. And Lynda, who’s been with us since the very beginning and knows Tim and his philosophy so well, has a particular soft spot for Kapsokisio from Kenya.
